Finding Joy in Every Moment

I spent the weekend at Westchester Collaborative Theater with a group of the most amazing women. It was a celebration of of female playwrights. It was called That's Not All She Wrote and it was set in The Never Too Latte Cafe. I played the cafe singer. My original music was intersperse amongst the wonderful variety of monologues and one-act plays that were presented.

The pieces presented were original works about; the divinity in swimming, a dyeing your hair fiasco, sisterly love, a tea party preparation victory, daring and choosing to live your best life or settling, a women's choice to be childless, exercising as you age, and finally, what happens on judgment day in the hereafter.

The audience laughed, cried and contemplated.

I remember looking around the stage the night of our dress rehearsal and thinking how wonderful women are. The entire affair filled me with joy and a sense of belonging to a very special part of humanity - Women.
