A moment can change your life!

Meeting De Niro!

I met Robert De Niro in 2000 at a new up and coming restaurant called the Caviarteria. Great name and concept but somehow it didn't take off.

Anyway, I was performing one night with my band. We were on break. One of my friends came up to me and whipered in my ear to get up and play because Robert De Niro had just walked in. So I did. It was wonderful to meet him.

Even though nothing came of the encounter, it was nice of him to ask how he could help me and I appreciated that. I literally had vowed the day before this gig that I was throwing in the towel in regards to having a career in entertainment.

Why meeting him caused me to recommit to my career I can't quite pin it, but here I am. I guess I love music, creativity and the creative process, too much. It is just who I am.

Thanks for dropping by.
